Welcome back to the Write on Bowen Festival, once again being held on beautiful Bowen Island/Nexwlélexwm! We have an excellent line-up of events and activities planned for writers of any genre and level of experience.

FRIDAY NIGHT we kick off with Island Voices; West Coast Words, featuring an evening of author and poet readings, storytelling & performances, at the Bowen Island Public Library Annex.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY we are presenting eight insightful and interactive workshops, featuring engaging and inspiring facilitators who can help you deepen your craft.

​

Saturday night is our Festival Gala, featuring award-winning and critically-acclaimed Canadian novelist, journalist and creative writing professor, Timothy Taylor.

​

Special events include our popular Saturday Luncheon, with the presentation of an inspiring session, led by the Darling Axe, plus a Mix & Mingle reception on Saturday evening.
