Edye Hanen

Edythe Anstey Hanen (Edye) has published award-winning short stories in literary magazines and anthologies, as well as articles in the Globe & Mail, the National Post and the Hamilton Bay Observer. She is a regular contributor to Mexconnect, an online magazine for travellers to Mexico, and was the editor of the Bowen Island Undercurrent community newspaper for 17 years. Her debut novel Nine Birds Singing, published by New Arcadia Publishing, was a finalist in the Whistler Independent Book Awards in 2019. She is currently working on her second novel, Borderlands.
