Have you been to Bowen? If so, what are you looking forward to. If not, what do you hope to find?

I've lived on Bowen since 2005 and helped launch Write on Bowen way back in 2008 when I didn't even have one novel published, never mind five. Working with Write on Bowen over the years and attending sessions as a participant has given me confidence as a writer. I'm excited to be presenting at this year's festival as a published author, it feels like coming full circle.. 

What's one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?

When I’m not writing novels, I write about travel and promote novels inspired by the arts. I run Artsy Traveler, an arts focused travel blog and host a podcast called The Art In Fiction Podcast. 

What’s the best words of advice on writing you’ve ever been given?

Don't be afraid to be bad. Just get the words down. You can't fix a blank page.

What do you like to read? Is there a book you could recommend?

Thanks to The Art In Fiction podcast, I read a lot of novels inspired by the arts, including painters, musicians, writers and more. My latest recommendation is When We Were Brilliant by Lynn Cullen.
